Photoshop will take forever for an Uzi, especially if you keep the rate of fire at 500 rpm. Overlay the muzzle flashes in your editing program instead and take down the opacity a tad. I'm gonna guess that your camera is only 1 color chip anyway, so the quality that you get from photoshop will be neg...

RE: Climbing Speed in Premiere Pro

I'm 99% sure that you can't in Pro without cutting your video line into lots of tiny chunks, but that looks really bad. AE is defenitely the way to go

If you're going to move them, make sure that where you move them to doesn't show anything cut off from where the bottom of the clip is. basically, if there is anything that isn't completely in the frame, then make sure they don't get cut off half way in the shot. to get around this, you can crop the...

AE would be easier, but i can't afford it right now, and cutting up frames is what i was trying to avoid, beuase it hella sucks to cut up like a dozen tiny clips, and it's choppy. oh well, i'll work with it.

another idea is hyperscore. it looks bizarre when you open it, but once you get it down, you can make some cool stuff. you can download it free if you google it.

handguns can fire tracers, but what's the point? you don't really have enough rounds to make it count for anything anyway. if your in a firefight with a pistol, tracers would light you up like a candle, which you would probably want to avoid.

If you can see the end of the gun, then you can use the muzzle flashes on the special effects page of this site, and then distort the image slightly in the motion menu if your using adobe. if the shot is at night, think about just adding a yellow filter to the shot and brightening it up for the same...

speed fades in premire 6.0

ok here's my problem. i'm trying to fade a clip from 100% normal speed to like 20% over the coruse of like a minute. is there any way to do this in premire without just cutting up the clip and changing the speeds for a bunch of new little clips?

It's looks better that way, but takes like 15 minutes for one 2 frame flash. It's especially hard if you have and automatic weapon, or multiple guns that don't fire at exactly the same time.

you might think about changing your setup to single-track (window>workspace>single-track editing). This will eliminate the 1a/1b track and make it just 1. Put the raw video on that line. Put the muzzle flash on the second line. Before you render it, if you play the video, the muzzle flash should be ...

If you're going to crack a piece of glass, make sure that you get the right kind of glass, or else it will just shatter. i don't know what it's called, but you want the glass that used in car windshields; it's mixed with some kind of glue to make it stay together in a crash.

Make sure that your putting the flash on the second video line, and you have the transparency set to luminence (i have no idea how to spell that, but i think that's it). you'll have to shrink it down on the timeline, and then also on the frame.
