Like anyone cares, but anyone reading the how many DV tapes will understand the purpose of this topic.
Mine is black and gray by the way.

RE: What colour is your camera strap !
For my Canon MVX100i, it is dark grey with the Canon logo in white. With the XM1 (GL1), it is black with the Canon logo in white.

My own cheapo camera has a nice black strap with Panasonic written out in white letters with the font Arial Bold.
The cameras that I prefer to use (namely the school's Canons and Sonys) do not have straps, thus adding to the excitement if you lose your grip for a second.
I believe that we should have a thread for the weight of your camera, and one for the type of tripod you use.
Along with some threads for the filter diameter on your camera, and the size of the LCD!

Well here is the thing...I really don't own a camera. I have a Panasonic PV-GS15 but it has been broken since I filmed Code of Dissolution back in the summer of '05. I rent equipment from the place I sort of work at right now and when I'm done with that I'll be likely renting equipment from the University of Utah's film school I'll be going into soon...
To answer you question...I normally use a DVX without the strap.
