Cheap Explosions
Moderators: Admin, Moderator Team
U want a nice explosion? 2 years ago i was acting like a pyro...I took some gas and put it in a bottle....put some paper-towel in it, light it, and throw, make sure its done on gravel NOT NEAR A HOUSE, NOR ON GRASS, and make sure u dont care if the ground gets turned black....AND IF U DO DO THIS, IM NOT LIABLE FOR TELLING U THIS!...but was neat, made a big fireball..

And if you are going to fill a bottle full of gas, use a PLASTIC bottle. Don't be dumb and use glass... it tends to hurl shards of death in every direction.

Guys, pay attention and listen to the expert Grant here. before you blow yourselves up.
Pretty much, an explosive glass bottle is nothing less than a large fragmentation grenade with an unpredictable fuse. But if you insist on using glass, I wouldn't go much larger than the mini tobasco bottles.

all i heard was a "tick" noise and i knew it was time to move fast. Bottle was too hot and shattered. Covered in hot glass and caustic soda. Still have soda scars now:D

you can make smoke bombs out of ping pong balls: make a slit and fill them with 4 parts sugar, 6 parts potassium nitrate (salpeter ... KNO3).
I bought some KNO3 from an online chemical shop type thing - search in google.
you can also gently heat the KNO3/sugar until it forms a goory substance, then set it into a mold with a fuse and light it - thats the 'official method' but i tried it and got better results by pouring them in powdere form into the ping pong ball.
we also added some matches and sandpaper in the hope that when thrown the ball would explode - it didnt! but when lit i think these extra ingredients added to the smoke effect.

Better than liquid or molotov bombs, there is propane gas
if you use liquid or a FRAGMENTING GLASS GRANEDE (a.k.a. MOLOTOV) , it will probably splatter everywhere. You can't really predict the exact direction that the liquid OR GLASS is gona' take. If you fill a party balloon with propane gas, depending on how much you fill it up and wind's direction, you will have a pretty good fireball that will disipate in mid air and will not spill lighted liquid randomly. It will pop to the sides and up and give the same fireball time after time.
You can ignite the ballon by making a small trail of camping stove fliud and lighting it up with a match. If you use an electric ignition method, you will need to light something else first, like a cotton ball dampened with gas. If you use any other technique it will melt and pop the balloon but it will not light the gas because if there is not an OPEN FLAME at the time that the ballon p ops, the released gas WILL NOT GET LITH!!!!
BELIEVE ME , I'M A NEWBE HERE BUTH I HAVE LOTS OF EXPERIENCE AND BIG IDEAS.... I,m a pyromaniac

the kinder egg bomb isnt very good for making any sort of spectacular effect
we used to make them in scouts and if the scouts think its safe enough to make, its garunteed not to be spectacular
try using a misting sprayer like wat they use on automatic sprinkler systems (u know the ones with the pipes and timers) and pump kerosene etc through it and wait for it to mist for a few seconds then activate ur igniter

reminds me a little trick i remember of filling the water tank up with petrol in a building fire sprinkler system. Set the sprinklers off and BOOM.
Still very dangerous and uncalled for
