Plot for my war movie
This may sound ambitious, but it's almost completely planned out, and well, believe me when I say that we know what we're doing. Anyway, here it is:
A DC-10 was shot down during Operation Overlord, with eight survivors on the entire plane, of which 3 are wounded. The other five, after a fierce firefight with German emplaced weapons, fight their way out of the hotzone and set up a casualty collection point. Because the three are dying, and there is no way for them to survive unless they find help, the other five need to set out to find Allied forces, and medical aid. Shooting is going to begin this summer. More info to come.

I got the pics from modelguns.co.uk, I'm getting the guns from repligun.us
Budget is running at about 1200 to 1500 dollars, so we're pretty much set for both weaponry and clothing; the MP40 is about 450 dollars, the teh Thompson is 660 dollars, and the M1 Garand is just a picture that I got off of there, since we already have a real Garand. Ammo and magazines should be an extra fifty bucks or so, but both guns come with 2 boxes of ammo. Just need an extra magazine for both.

I will not actually show the crash site - that's almost impossible with the budget I have. For the version of the movie we're keeping here at home, to show to family and friends, I'm going to get D-Day footage from Band of Brothers, then cut it up and edit it to fit the story, then add some slow choral music (with the sound removed from the footage). For the online version, however, I'm going to get audio of the speech Eisenhower made before the invasion began, and place it over stock WWII footage of soldiers in England. Copyright issues, y'know. I take those risks with music all the time, but with copyrighted footage from an HBO series, that's pushing it.

I like it... I like it...
SgtPadrino, you can host it on my server if you wish HERE
Also, those weapons look way too spit-shiny clean and new for a war picture.
