Blood Stock Footage on Website

I have found that this is the best method. Better than stock footage. Except i used my mouth instead of the pump and found better results. Seriously, i just did a test yesterday and it looked so kool. Oh yea, and i used ripped up tissue instead of sponge. I found that wen i tried it with sponge, the 'blood' would just run out of the hose.

if you want cg, i think epislon did that awhile ago? im not really sure. but if you still wnat cg (dont know why you would as it looks like cr** most of the time) and have a 3d program like 3dsmax then there are tutorials on how to make it im sure it cant be that hard. I think i try making my own this week and if your still interested i can give it to you.

That tut about the hose and spray botttle seemed very good.

Honestly, any body know the state of that weebsite?

IT had just wat I need, a red blob squirting. That is all I need for a 2 frame clip of someone getting shot.

If you want a bullet shot blood burst thingy, take a paintball gun and shoot a blue/green screen... Chrome the screen, then modify the paint color to red... You get a perfect gun shot wound, exploding and everything.

I did that for a quick battle sequence where a lot died in a short time, so ya not to good for dramatic falls... use the real stuff

Buy a tube, pipe, hose, something like that from Home Depot for 50 cents. Buy a green or blue poster board from a crafts store for 99 cents. Prepare a water bottle by filling it with water and mega amounts of red dye, with a drop or two of green dye. Insert one end of the tube, pipe, hose, something like that into your mouth and insert the other end into the "blood" filled water bottle. Suck the "blood" into the tube. Place the other end before the poster board in between it and a video camera. Hit record. Blow hard.

Blood spray.

Easy.

Done.

Now why is it so imperative to go and FIND somebody else that did the exact same thing?

At that velocity, red water or blood would like quite the same on camera. Plus you have many, many more options to place it in the frame as you wish!

well www.nccinema.ch offers great stock footage, the filmmaker sollthar is going to be offering a blood effects cd in the near future, so keep your eyes open

About tims site - he dosn't have the money to keep the site up, so it's gonna be down for a while..

NCC is good, but you have to pay for it's stock footage. I suggest making your own squib type things and use them while filming.
