Some 3d work

Post by Parallax »

Hi again, you said you like to see peoples work I don't know if any of you are into 3d alot around here but i did some spline modeling today and made the starts of one of those new VW bugs that got released in like 2000 or something... its only the metal so far and now i have to work on the details but ill post some more pics as the model develops...

Image

Here is your basic render... i dont like shiny red cars but I did this render relativley fast and I think ill do a black render cause black cars are sexy

And a wireframe for those interested.

Ooooooohhh... I think red is sexy! I like it a lot. Way to go so far. What are you basing the model off of? Or is it entirely from memory?

did that start off as a solid block and get bevelled and extruded into shape or was it individual panels merged together?

No, he said he drew it out in splines, not mesh.

Do you suppose I could get a copy of the Max scene? :D

I'm gonna need a car frame soon, for the part in "1.5 Seconds with 9 Millie" when a car explodes.
