Hollow point tile

How would i got about doing the light glaring through the title text, like in the Hollow point trailer. I've searched everywhere and cant seem to find a method.

Any help would be appreciated.

It was made using a plugin for adobe called shine from http://www.trapcode.com

Aww it doesn't look like it's a free plug-in.

Unfortunately it is not a free plugin. I'm sure the effect is possible in something like Lightwave or 3D Studio Max. Might be worth looking for a tutorial on the web.

i found it as a free plug in for a.e. a while back. i have no idea where though.
