Still tho 38 minutes is no small effort, its a grand enterprise, especially given the number of cuts in the edit of your trailer, it should be really a lot of work! So looking forward to it, will u maybe sell some on ebay etc?

Haha, don't worry it will. It's all complete after a whole summer (intended to shoot it only half the summer) at 38 minutes and 66,439 frames. It's 9:30 p.m. here (at this post) and I just began the render which right now is exceding 3 hour remaining mark. Once that is done rendering I'm going to render two different halfs and post them up, that is of course after all the people that helped watch it this weekend.

Lawriejaffa: I'm most likely not going to sell it on ebay or anything because I'm using copywritten music. I would make my own but I hate using ACID and all my friends that play instruments are busy with school, plus I am just so relieved that this movie is finally done!!!!!

You should look around for royality free music.

I gotten my entire soundtrack done for The Enemy Within just from searching around. It may of taken a week or two; but by God, I got it done!

Ah well yeah i bet you are knackered after editing all that! Cool ah well in the next film you can use original music perhaps, but if you save a track overlays in your vid editor then you could always go back to it?

If you need help hosting it let me know btw, and yep the royalty free music available, there is a lot in PD, but that ends up having to usually be performed again, though i use midi piano stuff sometimes (which i edit to sound more real) you can always get into fruity loops too though etc

Okay, here is the deal so far. I rendered it but it did a stupid thing (this was with AVI) so I started to render it in MPEG 2 format but it didn't render sound, I got that to work and then it became super-interlanced and now I am rendering it now. Each render is taking 9 freaking hours!

Try doing it in like WMV or something. That's what I do with my stuff.

Finally, I got it onto DVD, MPEG 2 format and it's only 1.14GB with perfect picture, I was amazed. Anywho, we'll have the "premeire" tomorrow and then I'll work on getting it online.

Lawriejaffa, you said something about hosting it, what is the maximum MB I can do.

So, look for its release sometime next week. :D Also, If I were you, I'd pick a day you have absolutly nothing to do to watch it.

The original is 1.14GB, so if I were to render a .wmve film and send it to you you'd be able to host it? I would use google video but it doesn't allow people to download the movie or watch it in fullscreen.

Nine hours to render? The hell do you use? Our half hour documentary took about forty five minutes to render, and my comp's a total piece! (I use Premiere 6.5, by the way)

Excellant trailer. Look forward to seeing the movie.

What was the music used in the piece? I've heard it somewhere before.

The premiere went very well last night, it's good to see the film finally pieced all together. Excellent editing job on his behalf, just wishing all of you can see it as soon as possible. Oh, and where's my copy Kenny!?

I use Vegas 5 and I have no clue why it takes so long, also freed, I used a song called "Pompeii" by E.S. Posthumus, you might have heard it in one of the first Spiderman trailers.
