Best Movie Making Guide
I've just visited Amazon to look for some/ a good book on good film making, but I need to know what is the best book for this topic?? Most of the books in Amazon are either about Animation & Anime, how to do it in the USA, or written in the mid 1990's (i want a book that is up to date). But also...

I wouldn't really set a limit, 'cos the rest of the plot will seem rushed, and if you have a secondary storyline (eg. romance) you might not get round to developing that fully. You could just finish the script, and talk through it with ur cast and decide on the relevant bits and the bits you should ...

Scripts & Moraity
O.K. Here's my Question: Say there was this old script in the script section of this forum. Now the user who wrote it hasn't been in for a while, we don't know whether they made it, and it was a damn good script! Would it be right to 'borrow' that script, Make some changes and make it?

I thought shrapnel sounded like a 100 stones hitting a wall at the same time. One way of seeing though is getting to some remote location with a quick explosive like the maniacs on ths site think of, and putting different materials on top of it (if you want wood shrapnel, put a piece of wood ontop, ...

Good Idea, of torching a REAL jeep, but I have four issues with this... 1. I can't drive 2. I'm not a mechanic so I can't remove the petrol tank 3. If I did have enough to buy a scrap jeep, I wouldn't have enough for bail (you know, the whole arson thing) 4. The only place big enough to set fire to ...

True, but with this scene, I was going to prove that the whole movie doesn't depend on just one guy shooting. I also wanted a biker that could perform 'traditional' movie stunts with no guns and just his wit and skill. I wanted this guy to destroy things, ride through things and confuse enemies usin...

Bike Chase Stunts, Any Ideas???
In a film I am directing, we are going to have a HUGE bike chase, but need ideas for stunts. We do have one idea, but to make the scene consistent (instead of having one good stunt and other rubbish ones), we need new ideas. SCENARIO The bikers are going to be made up of two men. One is on his own w...
