I thought about it, but I realized it's probably what I call "Caveman German" as in, instead of "I'm going to eat this sandwhich" It'll say "Me eat sandwich now"

A real silenced weapon will make a sound similar to the treble of a regular gunshot, only (Obviously) much silenter. Something that sounds like sry leaves rustling. Unless it is the REALLY good silencers, wherin the sound you hear is actually the action of the gun working.

If it's what I think your talking about, just clever tracking on the first frame of a clip. Probably took ages, but thats the only way I can think of

Looking for some translation work (English to German)

Is there anyone on this forum who would be interested in helping me translate a small section of my script into German? The last few scenes ocur in Munich and I want to kinda keep the authenticity.

RE: Re: Battle of the Bulge script so far

You do know about the existance of tanks, right (The millitary kind) About the script. The dialog is a little robotic. But if you write scripts the way I do, then it is explanable. What I do is I just write the script first. Then, when I'm done with it, I look it over and change the script so that t...

If it's anything like here, they outnumber the cops. Good thing they are to spineless to do anything more than key someones car, or we'd really be in trouble

The only time I payed one of my actors was when I gave a guy $15 when I accidentally broke something of his property (a crappy radio) and I think that at this point, that is the only circumstance that I would ever have to pay someone.

RE: GO or NO

Very, very well made. I don't know if you care, but in the scene in teh begining, when the character is still laying in the bed, you can see the cameraman reflected in the bedpost. No real way arround it except for not shooting it, but it was the only other flaw I saw in it... The first thing I thou...

Real ones would cost you probably in the range of thousands of dollars, if we're talking about WWII-era rifles, adn not just rifles that someone got after the war

try (In Windows Media Player) going to tools>options>Performance and lowering your video accelleration. THis helped when I had this problem, but when it happened to me, I didn't even get the first few frames, so it might be somethign different.
