get a strobe light, most of them respond to when you clap. Have someone clap at random times and edit the sound.

I did like the yetis fps, but i think it would be better if you didn't show the audience the actual yeti until the last moment.

RE: yes thats right, you guessed it, CGI BLOOD

Heres a little tip. Find cool stock footage in Detonation films, something that looks like a blood splat. The aerial sqibs are the best, put luminance on, go to the adjust folder, RGB, than muck about with the colours. Looks pretty good.

Get Audacity
Thank you. So easy to use and really effective.
Just go to a firing range with a recording system
I have never seen one in England.

i tried making my own the other day. They came out quite well, but can't anyone give me any sound effects? If not, tell me how to get them from a dvd. I have tried so many times with different software like
DVD shrink etc.

RE: Re: RE: WW2 trailer

Lol. I just started filming on friday. I was out for four hours and got about 3 mins edited footage. With two people it takes a real long time to get all the shots. I have changed the trailer to a short film as all the equipment cost us a lot of money. My aim is to make the film at least 10 minutes ...

RE: Re: RE: WW2 trailer

They are quite shiny.

Did it come with the plastic head?
Na, the helmets did not come with the plastic head, and for for some reason, they are really shiny in the picture, but they are not that shiny in person, but i am going to rub some dirt etc on the helmets.

Yeah. Thats what we were thinking. We will just try and obscure the other peoples faces. Plus we will be wearing different uniforms, so it shouldn't look that bad. Plus with a bit of camera trickery it should work.

But having a little bit of people in the video means you have to come up with some kind of reason for them being the only ones there, you know? I know what you mean, but in mine, i am going to follow the journey of two people in the war. Obviously i will make it look like there are many more people...

Also, I'd try to find a more authentic helmet... or maybe try to cover it with shrubs or something. It looks like kevlar, not steel.
Yeah, i am not going to be using that helmet, that was just for the test. Thanks for the advice.

In my oppinion, i cant see the point in building fake guns. By the time you get all the materials ect. You could of bought a fairly realistic fake one. Just recently, i bought 2 AK-47s that look pretty real, for like £3.50 each. Plus i am fairly lazy so i couldn't really be arsed to make them mys...
