If created a rolling end-credit sequence in Premiere. What I found out is that you have to animate each individual credit/name over a black background. I'd tried using a large bitmap file, and list all my credits on that, and then use the "zoom" feature in Premiere to scroll down the bitma...

Once I have some pictures up, it should be pretty obvious to people on how to build one.

I don't plan the starting filming my next film, for at least a mouth.

But don't worry, I won't forget to post the picture once I have it set-up. (I currently have it packed-up in one of my sheds.)

You can use that Terminator remix if you want. It's no big deal.

It just that I want to use that in my next film too.

I guess it dosen't matter if it gets used in more than one film, so long as it is appropriate.

I made my own cable-cam! Without any tutorials on the internet. It works great! I run it on a 100 foot-long cable, which you can suspend basically anywhere. I can fly my camer through trees, bushes, over stuuf, beside stuff, even over bodies of water. Next time I have it set-up, I should take some p...

Now I wish I haven't of posted that link to that terminator remix, if a dozen people going to start using it in their films. Then I would have to listen to it in all your films.

Agh! There's no use, I can't stop you from using it now.

I use Lightwave, and I think it is great!

I haven't tried the other 3d programs. But, I find lightwave very easy to use and it does what I want it to do without complications. I am happy with it.

We own four, and they always seem to make an appreace in own films.

One person can also do good tracking shots from the ATV, as long as they know what they ared doing and they don't drive into somthing.:o

The first half of the movie looked pretty fake. You could tell that it was CGI.

But the second half was well done.

I suggest you use a model factory to film and burn. You can then composite that footage into footage of your actor walking. You can grenscreen/mask/splice your footage together in post. You have lots of diiferent options for doing this.

I know you can use the WM9 ecoder to create 5.1 sound; but, you have to have an indivdual .wav file for each channel. Now that's a pain:mad:! Anybody know of an effective way to produce 5 differnet .wav tracks in Premiere that are in-snyc, and that I can manitpulate to create the soundtrack for each...

The best visually effects are the ones that do push the limits of technology. While still making the effects look fawless. I'm tired of seeing CGI filled films that don't push CGI to its limit. Instead of having new a original special effects, they just use lots of CGI you have already seen in other...

There are video plug-ins that can make your video look like film. If you can't use one of the plug-ins; deinterlance your footage, and they play around with the colour, contrast/brightness, and levels; untill you achive the look you want. Your footage won't look exactlly like film; but it won't look...

Commercial filmakers taday try to accomplish too much with CGI. Productions companys that can't afford to go to great effect houses (like ILM, and the Mill), will use second-rate companys to do there CGI. Another reason why the CGI in films like T2, Jurrasic Park, and Titaninc still hold up to today...

Don't point your camcorder at the sun!
It can damage the camera.

For tracking the lens-flare effect in Permiere, I would simply keyframe it.

3ds max, lightwave, and Maya can all produce decent 3D images. I use Lightwave, which I find very simple to learn and use. The program is broken into two parts; "Modeler" and "Layout", which is one of the key reasons the program is so simple to use. I got 3 instructional VHS tape...

I like your idea CamClub! The principal to it is very simple and it would look the best in my opinion. I have a tripoline by my house, and my brother jumps off the house onto the tripoline all the time. That would work if the charcter waws going to jump onto the roof of a house. I don't think the CG...
