i don't know if I am allowed to say this, but: A lot of Royalty free sites that charge provide a free sample that you can downlaod to listen to. Although this is supposedly lower-quality then the exspensive version, unless you are entering it into a festival, these can often be a great help. I like ...

I have decided that I will not focus much on the corridoor, and just have a small bluescreen section for it. I have worked out ways to be able to link up the rooms to make it seem a little like a prison. The only problem I have now is the establishing shot. I have five actors (including me, the came...

I put Edgen's Terminator Remix as the theme for my last film, and absaloutley EVERYBODY was shocked at the quality of the music. It set up the film so well, obviously only to be let down by our terrible movie-lol. Anyway, I haven't heard any of his other pieces, but as far as I know, Edgen sure know...

I think zooming is fine as long as it is either super-duper slow of super-duper fast.

I don't think the real prison thing would really be possible for me, given my age etc.

I have a school really close too where I live, and its annoying cos I could have used it easily if the Holidays weren't finishing.

Shhhhhh! Do not speak of the Dark Lord's name!

Anyway, sorry for spoiling your fun, but I think manuals can over-complicate things, especially when they accompany products that clame to be Industry Standard. A good ol' dishing of Leyman's terms never fails.

I love Wall-Mart. The only problem is: I love Wall-mart when I'm on holiday. Here in England we lack such a great store, and are thrown the rejects of Wall-Marts monopolisation such as Asda.

Any British people have an idea on where I could get chroma green cloth?

O....k?

I guess I could just green screen every single scene I do in the corridoor, but I don't have a greenscreen big enough. Where do you guys get your blue/green screens from, and for how much?

1. Import both videos. 2. Place background footage in 'Video Track 1', and place bluescreen footage in 'Video Track 2'. 3. Right click the bluescreen footage that has been placed in track two, go two 'Video Options', then 'transparency'. 4. In the menu of transparency types, click 'blue screen'. 5. ...

Well I don't need as much detail as Sayhi talked about, all I really meant was the cells and the corridoor. I have got a Big fence near by we could use as the outer walls, and Grants idea of bleak rooms could work well. The study area I'm in now would be a cool office... Thanks for the ideas guys. I...

Creating a Prison Set

In my next film, I want it to largely be based arount a prison ( a young offenders prison to be exact). Tiny weeny little problem is that I don't have a prison in my back garden. The only indoor location I have, is my hous. I have a type of 6 x 8 ft blue screen in my curtains, but that is pretty muc...

So... Look for: INCLUDED ability (software etc) to load video onto a PC. There is nothing worse th...

I have always enjoyed making up fight scene type things, and from experience I find the best way is to: 1. Write down every single attack/move that you know you can pull of safely. 2. Write down every single interlink move (something such as a picking someone up, spinning them around, or rolling on ...

I read CamClub's link thing, but I still really need to know:

Is it POSSIBLE for USB to capture at the same quality as Firewire? Surely just because its transfer rate is slower, doesn't guarentee quality loss. Why can't it just take longer, but get the same quality?

If you would like to compose for my film Mark, I would be unbelivably greatful. Obviously you'd get full credit and stuff, but it would really be such a great help.
