It seems to me, they supply wholesale to other stores too.

There is a market stall near where i live that sells weapons, swords etc at cheap prices, maybe this is where he gets them from...

I was using the Panasonic NV-MX500, that i advertised for sale on this forum & i sold it on eBay.

It's a true amateur that chooses a camera for how it looks & not how it shoots.....

We're off to shoot a little film with it. Don't expect the next Robbery or Alien Dawn, just a little practise using the camera on location.

Although we have something decidably cool in the offing, maybe next week.... ;) ;)

another way is have the actor walk real slow, in slow motion, then speed the footage up & everything else should be faster.

Well, he's a photographer & he went to Alaska to shoot a video project, so maybe he got the extra batteries becuae A) They'd come in handy & B) He's loaded. :D

I got it for £1,400. It was used once for a project. It has 5 batteries, Wind muffler, a canon UV, ND & polerising filter set, a conon mini tripod for standing it on & had a pack of 5 unopened miniDV tapes too! Bargain... Looking on the original recept, he payed £240 for the 4 extra ba...

Just to let you guys know, DDP now has an XL1. We're looking forward to shooting 'The Plan' & others & as you know, the picture will be great! :lol:

It's not just the two of us.

We have a guy who works for BBC writing it & starring it. We're not going to be in it, just maybe a cameo.
Because it's a feature, we need to remain behind the cameras. :)

We are going to be working on our first feature film next summer. We're going to London for an XL1 tomorrow! YAY!
