I was slighty worried but I read lots of posts from people who tried it without problems. There is currently a hacked 1.33 firmware but when I did mine I used 1.3 Have a look at this forum : http://forum.rpc1.org/viewtopic.php?t=12632 Other useful links : http://forum.rpc1.org/ http://pioneerdvd.rpc...

What about if you took a plastic lemonade bottle, cut it in half and then slid on half back into the other half ? Maybe using sticky tape to seal the join.

The same as a kinder suprise container but bigger !!

That's it. Rub it in. You got it 20 quid cheaper! What DVD-Rs are you going to use? I can recommend Samsung BeAll and Datawrite Classics. For data stuff everything has worked just fine. As I mentioned before the only probs I have had are with my standalone player. I flashed my drive with the hacked ...

Fairly easy to do in Premiere. Prepare a picture of your movie screen. Stick it in video track 1A or 1B. Stick your movie in track 2. Right click on your movie in the timeline and select 'video options > 'motion'. Click the 'center' button to center the start position. Select the end position and cl...

If the firewire card is PCMCIA then yes. I think firewire is propably a good option in your case because you could also use the hard drive in a desktop PC in the future if required ... or in other laptops. If you bought an internal drive it would be expensive and you may never be able to use it in a...

You'd probably be ok using something like aerosol ... its just if it did go wrong the consequences would be very bad. IF you did do it just make sure you've got a big tub of water and a few mates with buckets so they can drown you with water at a moments notice. In this case safety outways footage b...

Yeah, that animation was borrowed from AlamDV. It isn't that great so any other animations would be gratefully received. For our next project we are going to create animations in a 3D package on a scene-by-scene basis. So we weren't going to worry about them too much until the film is almost complete.

Definitely would not recommend that. No matter how hard you try or plan it only takes seconds to give yourself serious burns.

This is one case where CG is going to be much better. Real fire would look more realistic .... but then so would the skin peeling off your bones !

All you need now is a quote from the Daily Mirror.

What other awards did they give out? How did the other films do?

Grant, why don't you do a tutorial on your site of how to make one

Ulead DVD Movie Factory is fairly good for creating menus for both VCD, SVCD and DVD.

I think you can get a trial version from the Ulead site.

Not sure about animated intros. Have a look at Xara Cool3D.
