I might go to the home depot tomorrow, so I might get a battery with enough power to set off the firecracker, some sort of wire that would work, a piece of wood with some nails, and a lead plate to put on the actor.

Ya Grant, I also picked up the smoke from the fuse. But if you ignited the squib with a igniter, there wouldn't be smoke right?

Try TMPGEnc 2.5. I think you can get a demo of it somewhere. I know I have once converted a WMV to a MPEG 1 before. It should work fine.

OK, so if I bought one of those model rocket kits, I could use the igniter to set off the squib? How much do these model kits cost? If I did buy the model kit, does it already come with everthing I need to set off the squib? Is there alot of smoke when you do ignite the squib? And my last question, ...

I have not really expiranced with blank firing guns yet, but the bullets getting jammed is probley because the inside of the gun is dirty. You should clean it, then see if they jam. And yes, it would be a really good idea if you got ear plugs. I heard around the net that these can really damage your...

I know it doesn't come with a LCD screen. Who cares. Can't you connect a little external LCD screen via RCA ports? Thats what I would do. And what do you mean it shoots in Widescreen without the black bars? Is there a way you can put the black bars in?

Canon XL-1S

Anybody got it? I've read the Specs for it and everything. Looks like my dream camcorder. So if anybody's got it, are you happy with it?(If it's a $3000 camcorder, or more, you better be) Does it shoot in real 16x9 mode?(AKA widescreen) I would really want this more than the Sony DCR-VX2000.
