Thanks for the comments, most of the rendering lasted between 3 minutes and 3 hours on each scene. As this is only a beta the voice is cr** because it was a quick last minute thing as i wanted to get it online quick, I will go back and change them. trying to find a voice changing program. I know wha...

Star Wars Rise of The Empire Beta
This originally started out for me to learn how to use 3d studio max, but evolved into a small movie. EVERYTHING is CGI including the Darth maul Character. All models used where from scifi3d.net. I used 3d studio max 8 adobe after effects and sony vegas. I am continuing the video, this is just a sho...

RE: FX LAB
I have visionlab, its the ultimate program. I remember when they brought out alamdv2. I thought that was great until i learnt that its too 2d and not good for most things. But they have come a long way since then and its a great alternative to adobe products

take out the explosion noise, cause there is no sound in space silly :) I know, however could you imagine a star w2ars space battle without any sound? Pretty boring. If I do another one I won't bother putting in a moon again, and yes the asteroid did wipe out everything, because it was massive, eve...

Re: RE: snowfall test- does this look like winter?
I'd blur the snow that's close to the camera because a DV camera would never pick up fine drops in front of the camera like that But that would show the inconsistency of using a camera. Its like people who say that the motion blur looks bad in a certain film. In reality, there is no motion blur, if...

star wars x wing animation
this is my very first ever rendered video using bryce 6 to animate an x wing flying passed the camera. Please don't expect it to be great, as i only just learnt how to use the program and how to animate. It took about 6 hours to render this and only 5 minutes to animate it. Since I made this vid, i ...

lol they strange thing is i have no idea, i messed around with all the settings and stuff and that is what i ended up with. I probably wouldn't be able to get those settings exactly the same again until i get a bit more practice. The problem i am having is i dont quite know how to animate yet, becau...

i would like to add, that if you buy it, be careful because potassium nitrate is on the government watch list for bomb making. I hope anyone here isn't stupid enough to make such a thing, but obviously if you need to get hold of it from the proper channels make sure you are Very clear on the reason ...

once it starts burning, you will not be able to put it out until it burns itself out (usually 30-60 seconds) I thought that covered the fact it burns. The baked bean can is usually tough enough to use but the cupcake holders are usually for real small smoke effects that burn out in 10 seconds, howe...
