I did a search for "orange gun" but all I seemed to get were handguns colored orange (no joke). They are also known as Spud Guns or POTATO Guns. AIR IS THE SAFEST/MOST CONTROLABLE way of doing this. Use a regulator valve to control the presure. Here is the one I built: http://www.deathlor...

If you're going to be doing flips in your stunt, you need a full body harness. WRONG !!!!!! You don't "NEED" it, but it's a good precaution (but not necesary) If the waist belt and the leg loops are properly adjusted (a.k.a. tight), you won't fall off the harness. Right now I don't have t...

try thinking of alternitves such as having the camrea cut a lot rather then moving, this way you can show lots of movement without the camera actually moving! just lots of different cuts
You couldn't have said it better. That the only LOW BUDGET , yet efective way I can think of.

Yeah! The camera shouldn't bow in the center, that's why I sugest (as John G. does) to use a whinch or any other similar device to tighten the rope. The pic. above is for CLIMBING purposes, not for cablecam. It's there just to give you an idea. If you overtigh a climbing rope, there is a chance that ...

Point tracking and green screen. The computer software uses the reference points in the green screen and then studies and compares how they move in respect to the background. This way the computer keys out the G.S. and matches the green screen footage movements with the footage of the background Rem...

( I always try to write short replies, but I always end up doing long ones.... dam it!!!) If filming outside, watch the sun's brightness. If you record the background plate way before the action, the mask will be noticeable because the BG plate will be a bit brighter than the plate with the wires. M...

If you say the sync is off by a little, can you just drag the audio in the timeline until it syncs up with your picture Of course I did that, that's the first logical step to correct this prob. (I'm good with Premiere/After Effects) I use clip markers with both, audio and video tracks. I first expa...

Premire 6 renders my Video/audio desinchronised, HELP???????

I'm having this problem since I don't know when. I just found out last friday when rendering a movie with dialogue on it. The actor's mouth is desinchroniced with their voices for about a 1/2 second. The voice is heard BEFORE the mouth moves!!!!! . I've checked my settings but I can't solve i...

Haven't you ever heard of a spinning chickenwire cillinder filed with foam flakes above the set ???? Just make a cilindrical shape with chickenwire (small holes work best) and build a rig with ball bearings or something on the sides, so that the whole thing can spin, sending the foam pieces out thro...

Since the fish tank method only works good in superficial shots, I use several angled mirrors underwater to have more view-field. Usually, I have at least 2 mirrors placed in "periscope mode" (as I call it). Place the cam.(inside the f.t. ofcourse!!!) a few inches below the waterline. Then...

I also used the cremora bomb fx. The pics look tiny in detonation's forum. I think as UFProductions, the pics don't make justice, I did a 10-12 foot fireball with just 2 Tbsp. of cremora!!!!!.
