Yeah! The camera shouldn't bow in the center, that's why I sugest (as John G. does) to use a whinch or any other similar device to tighten the rope. The pic. above is for CLIMBING purposes, not for cablecam. It's there just to give you an idea. If you overtigh a climbing rope, there is a chance that ...

As usually, I just start with the idea of writting a short post, but always end up doing a long one (but very informative :D ) like this. It took me almost 4 1/2 hours to tipe and then research all the pics(which is the hardest part) for this one.I SHOULD BE A POSTING FREAK OR ADMINISTRATOR BY NOW. ...

( I always try to write short replies, but I always end up doing long ones.... dam it!!!) If filming outside, watch the sun's brightness. If you record the background plate way before the action, the mask will be noticeable because the BG plate will be a bit brighter than the plate with the wires. M...

If you say the sync is off by a little, can you just drag the audio in the timeline until it syncs up with your picture Of course I did that, that's the first logical step to correct this prob. (I'm good with Premiere/After Effects) I use clip markers with both, audio and video tracks. I first expa...

Premire 6 renders my Video/audio desinchronised, HELP???????
I'm having this problem since I don't know when. I just found out last friday when rendering a movie with dialogue on it. The actor's mouth is desinchroniced with their voices for about a 1/2 second. The voice is heard BEFORE the mouth moves!!!!! . I've checked my settings but I can't solve i...

Haven't you ever heard of a spinning chickenwire cillinder filed with foam flakes above the set ???? Just make a cilindrical shape with chickenwire (small holes work best) and build a rig with ball bearings or something on the sides, so that the whole thing can spin, sending the foam pieces out thro...

I also used the cremora bomb fx. The pics look tiny in detonation's forum. I think as UFProductions, the pics don't make justice, I did a 10-12 foot fireball with just 2 Tbsp. of cremora!!!!!. For a more REAL FIREBALL, try filling a 12 inch helium party balloon with propane gas. You'll be amazed how...

The plaster shells didn't worked that well. Here is another idea I had while replying to a private message sent to me: I have no Idea how I'm going to pull this off. Righ now I'm full time into gymnastics competitions, so I don't have lots of time to experiment. As soon as I come up with something I...
