When watching movies, especially dialogue, you can see how the angle changes on character, different angles of his head, closeups and than back to full views etc etc. yet the level and tone of their speech stays the same, I'm sure they carry over the sound track from one one take, but which one? I've seen Behind The Scenes things where they talk about cloning saying that they had to copy and paste a hundred times... You can make clones just by selecting a person and copying and pasting them somewhere else on the screen though, right? Clones only work with masking and lots of clips... Correct?

How would I do it though?

Do you add in each SFX on an audio track with Premiere or do your video into Audition and add your sound effects in that way?

Is that possible with 6.5?


With the motion settings, what is the fill color thing for? I've always wondered and always just set it to black by default... what would I use it for?

Is it just basically a digitally developed background or is it keying out the background? I always thought it was basically a region that specified transparency, but than on a site like this http://www.matteworld.com/ it's described as background that's been made.

I was setting Track Matte on the matter when I should have been doing it to the track that I wanted the matte to apply to.

Is the best way to make track mattes to export a film strip of video and then in photoshop go over each frame in Black (for transparency) and white (for opaque) and then import that film strip back in premiere?
