'John Groshko said: Then you'll never be one step ahead of your fellow-filmmaker' There is so much more to motion pictures than CGI. You could make a movie with the most spectacular CGI ever and someone else could make a movie with the most spectacular script/storyline ever. Now, the second film wou...

My motto with my movies are: If you can't do it perfect, don't do it at all. I like my movies to be profesional looking (to a certain extent, anyway), so i'd use CGI, because I wouldn't be able to make it look good. I make films without big stunts and explosions, and the end product looks as if you ...

We're all sorta makin' John feel bad here, but if I had made that movie I'd be proud of it. It entertained me for 33 minutes, and what else do you need from an action movie?

Here is my review of TERMINATOR : Tides of Steel (good title by the way) It would be a lie to say that this film is original. It really isn't. I mean, in the first part, the script is LITERALLY just snippets of T2 and T3. There is NO new material. And the good terminator's accent is possibly the wor...

The best bit is where the evil terminator is beating on the good one with a sledge hammer. The cutting is outstanding.

To be far, there are a couple of bits which are THE SAME. Like the bit in Pt2 where two good terminators walk towards Connor and one of them goes "Get Down" and shoots the other with a shotgun, and the other turns back into the evil terminator. Some of the sound is a bit off, but it might ...

Make a slasher movie about a killer who murders young kids and, as long is you make it terrifying and realistic, not like a stupid Elm Street movie, parents will be terrified. I'm thirteen and my mum and dad won't let me see DON'T LOOK NOW because they say it's too horrificly terrifying.

What's with all the Pinnacle-bashing. It rocks! It has basically everything you could ever want! I've edited four feature films using Pinnacle, and made lots of money. Maybe it's not quite as expensive or complicated as some of the other programs, but it is an excellent program all the same.

when you are trying to sell a project to somebody you sure as hell better have a script Yeah, but what I'm saying is that, showing classmates with near-offensivley apauling imaginations (if your school's anything like mine) a script to a huge action film, all they will be able to see in their minds...

Don't show people scripts. Scripts aren't usually a good a good example of the finished product. If you were doing a film full of constant, mindblowing action and very little dialoge, people would say the script was terrible, but if you shot it and choreographed it really well, it would still be a g...
