but is the vx1000 good for a starting camera? By what means doo you mean a starting camera? If this is your first camera, then I wouldn't spend a large ammount of money. But if it is your start into making films for festivals, sale, or the rest of it, then I would suggest buying a better camera. Af...

I don't know much about it. Right now im using cinelook for a bit of colour correction, however it takes an extremley long time to render. Im sure there is something better out there. As for picture correction, I don't think it makes the overall quality better, just a crisper, better looking picture...

Blood Dripping
Im still struggling on how I am going to do this. What has to happen is that a guy is standing perfectly still and a drop of blood comes off his face. I want to be able to see the drop fairly good, and it would be nice if it dropped off all in one shot, like a close up. I was considering doing some ...

s***! I thought it said 1990's, but my choices are still the same. To pick 5 is even hard because I respect almost every filmmaker, for making a film. If I had to pick 15 I would pick 1. Steven Spielberg 2. Danny Boyle 3. Quentin Tarantino 4. Robert Rodriguez 5. James Cameron 6. Ridley Scott 7. Stan...

Big premiere problem
Ok Ive got a problem with premiere 6.5. When I go to capture the screen is grey. Its not the camera or firewire because I can capture fine in other programs. Also when I import stuff and put it on the timeline I get no video, just audio. Can anyone help?

Could anyone here do some original music?
Im not sure if anyone can, but this would be a lot easier. Im doing a short film that should end up about 15 min or less. Its not quite a horror, or a thriller. Almost a clockwork orange type stuff would be good.

I turned on the computer and it recognized it and everything, but im not sure how to format it. If anyone could give me some step by step help, it would ...

Sounds good. It sounds like one of those films where it seems like a fantasy but then they realize life cant work in a fantasy world. I find it strange why people strive to be perfect. They waste much of their life away trying to get a 95% average by doing huge projects, studying extremely long, and...

Usually my friends won't even act, so for a film Im doing right now, Im trying to bribe them with little things like money. I don't think most peopel realize it's not just some dumb little video. Also the problem is that I can't write stuff with like 25 year olds and old guys, I have to keep it fair...

first off go to file, and import, then go to file. Pick your file and it should be in the program. At the start screen I don't know what you would pick for PAL, but I usually put my stuff to VHS, and I pick the main one, it should already be highlighted, it's like a dv type with 12 bit or 16 bit sou...

it dosen't really teach anything, basically it just inspires. It is a much better book that all those other bullshit ones. Im in chapters because i have a $40 gift certificate. I see these huge books, like easily over 1000 pages that teach you how to do low budget. After scrolling through it, all th...
