There are so many different digital projectors out there (InFocus, Epson, etc.) and I'm wondering if anyone knows a good projector to get for premiering movies on a big screen. Under $1500 please

My bad experience

So, I went into iMovie (the beginner program) and imported there because it has scene detection. Then, I put it into FCP. I put it on ...

Mini DV vs. Digital 8?
Which do you think has better quality? I noticed that Mini DV sometimes seems to be lower quality, and Digital 8 has better color but I may be wrong.

RE: What shade of green?
"Low Budget Chroma Paint. Mixed by Lowe's Hardware, it is a very close match to the original chroma green (left) and about half the price. Lowes will mix it if you give them the following numbers: 103-4Y 113-1Y 1145Y32 base 4"

RE: Good Question (mini-dv tape)
I agree with maj barnes, the quality would degrade over time. But doesn't doing that give you timecode problems? It you had a clip, and than you record two shorter clips over it with a break in between them, that might screw things up.
