Using banners?
Okay, This may seem like a silly question to some, but I simply have never tried to do this in my websites. I would like to put banner ads on my page, just like MattHawkins.Co.Uk, where every time the page loads it shows a different banner of the same 468x 60 px's. How do I go about doing this? -Tha...

RE: which layout is better
No.1 is entirely better in my opinion... If you do not need to use an an extreme amount of space than don't. It simply looks better just work on the alignment of text and stuff. because one of the scrolling texts is dis-aligned with its respective spot. -L8er

Try searching www.myspace.com for some unsigned artists that may have some work you are looking for and would certainly be happy to give you permission to use it. Thats the legal, legit, and smart way to do it. -L8er

The film stops at 16:35 but it says 36:16 and I didn't feel like reading everyone else posts. lol. The film looks good. But the actors need to work some. They aren't exactly in the moment, and I really didn't get why you went so folky but thats your artisitic choice. Maybe I'd understand more if I s...

If you want to break a vase or something on a table or an object in general than you should time it properly or you could have a shot of you maybe shooting a vase or some object with a paintball gun [Put a marble in it] and then have the camera set up in the same exact spot [IE don't move the camera...

RE: Choppy Crossfades in Vegas 5
Okay, what you are doing is your slowing down the clip with the velocity envelope [I.E. Slow Motion] By the fact that your asking that someone help you figure out how to fix the transition problem without removing the velocity envelope shows that you are purposly slowing it down. However, it seems t...

Okay, the Vegas Deinterlace options didn't help it is still very nasty looking, and I tried using Dscaler and I open the video file in that program and it plays like a piece of the begining and the audio doesn't match the video but what it does show me is a piece of the video that is deinterlaced ni...

RE: interlace lines?
This film will be submitted to the Tribeca Film Festival Via: Amazon. Thus, the film must be uploaded to their site as a submission. Therefore, these interlace lines have to go. I don't really see real options for deinterlacing in Vegas. The only options I have are Progressive Scan, Upper Field Firs...

Hello, My friend and I are currently editing a film we had shot, and we are rendering footage. However, after the footage is rendered these really bad and big lines occur, that hadn't occured before. They're nasty and I never had this problem before. How do I get this to stop happening? We are using...

Yes this does infringe. Most will not care. However. some tight asses might try something. You will prob. have no problem as long as you are not selling it. I have used mainstream music in some of my movies, and I actually got permission. So maybe you can contact the artists and get real permission....

Okay, Now I can see why the majority of the films on this site are loaded with computer cr** and contains less of true art. The matrix was a good idea, and interesting take on world philosophies. However, it's presentation was just disgusting and disheartening. CGI should be a tool used to tweak a f...

I agree with KayBeck on the whole, but sorry I don't think the story is very itneresting. No offense but as some constructive criticism the story wasn't thought out and it is flawed. The ransom concept is over the top, for one if someone were to hold a city ransom like that it wouldn't work. To thre...

What in gods name is wrong with shooting on film? Eh? I really don't get that. Plus you'll never make any money back? the tutorial above isn't too bulky because I think Im going to go for a halo effect of specific colors so its more of a transition within black and white and not completely the two extremes. More closer to Sin City than Shindler's List you know? so I don't think I will have to be bothered with too m...
