Some films use a paintball gun with a certain kind of thing they shoot (I don't know what it is). It's easy to aim and kicks lots of dust. If you don't have one and you have an airsoft gun you could probably just shoot one of those on some loose dirt.

I wanted to see it too! You should really stick with it since you went through all that writing and stuff and clearly you said.
The Script I wrote for it is like a 1&1/2 pages long, with something that short I can easily make it in like 30min..
I think you should just make it.

You only really need one if you're filming and recording sound differently to synchronize the two together. That is why those clapperboards have the timecode on them, the clapping noise helps to synchronize the two together.

It depends on the kind you want. Airplane, explosions, etc.
Detonation Films is great for explosions.

without effort, even luck won't help you. exactly! Spielberg made a movie in college called "Amblin" which was bought by Universal Studios and they hired him to direct t.v. shows. He later made a t.v. movie that had people impressed. Then Universal gave him enough money to film his first ...

It really is a lot of luck That is true but I also think it depends on the effort too. People here sometimes seem to rush their projects making it a little or sometimes even more different then what they'd imagined the final movie would look like. I think a good movie that you've put more effort in...

I'll try my best to get older people in my movies, like 25 or 28, or 30 I'm betting there'd be about an 80 - 90% chance of people wanting you to pay them if they're this old, being that most people 25 or older have jobs and busy schedules to keep up with. If you hire an actor it'll be about a 95% c...

I think Color Correcting is the way to go. All you must really do is make either a soft warm yellow color or a little light blue in the sky and a dark tint to everything else.

I'm totally commited! A new film school just opened here in Utah I think this year, after I graduate I'm thinking I might try it out. I'm serious enough I'd even try to get into a big film festival in about 10 -15 years.
I plan on attending film classes at BYU in a few years

what music was that? Since there wasn't that many songs I might list what soundtrack they came from: 1. Big Fish 2. Road To Perdition 3. Matchstick Men 4. Village 5. Matrix Revolutions I recommend Matchstick Men soundtrack. It's sexy Polka music  Also this movie really I'm calling a test for ...

In the first movie when you shoot the window where did you get the bullet hole effects because it doesn't look like the glass bullethole effect on the SFX page on this site.

i thought it was a great movie but with the wrestling on the ground i thought it would be cooler if you had different camera angles for it.
Sean and Matt were getting pretty tired and I just told them to wing it because it'd look more realistic so I just decided to move along with them instead.

To all who have seen The Bourne Supremecy. Whenever Bourne is having the flashback when the guy says "Good job soldier you've past training" the slow motion is a little sketchy and since this is a slow motion post does anyone know how to do that.

Pretty cool, but I saw a few flaws. It was pretty shaky around the fight scene inside the house, also, how would he of known there would be a rifle under the bed? I was going with a little Bourne Identity/Supremecy look right there I though it'd be kinda dumb to have the camera sit still the whole ...
