Well, as far as making one...I wouldn't be sure where to start...butttttt...I did find this site that sells them for around $15 a piece, if you're interested. Your thread sortof sparked an interest, so I did some research! haha, and that's what I found. Hopefully that helps you in SOME way!? haha

As far as making them goes, 10mm plywood would've been my first call, but if that didn't work... Try finding some oven-bake clay that you can shape then harden. The brand you're most likely to find is Sculpy, I know that works well. Try your local flea markets too, they tend to carry that kind of stuff.

dude why would you make these? Any local knife shop or gun store has "paper weights" what are actually brass knuckles.. .i think thats how they get away with selling them...but anyway yeah they're f*** cheap. If you don't have a knife store or a gun store, see if thers a gun show coming through town sometime soon, gunshows always have tons of these things (probably literally).

I'm pretty sure some emo or straight edge kid would sell you one, they always seem to have them. Halfway through this post I realized that might not be a good idea, there might be evidence on them.

Pfff, you North Americaners use plywood for everything. I'd recommend against this, the wood gives too many splinters. MDF or balsa wood (From a moel shop) would be a more comfortable solution!

You're right, I am a smartass. Too bad you're a silly billy.

And if you are so good and great, why don't you actually answer Vor's question?

Isn't that an appropriate censor!

I problem I see with wood is, to have something thin like brass knuckles, even if cut nicely, would potentially be crushed when held. Which is probably why they were made of metal and not called wood knuckles!

Plywood would work in this case, it wouldn't crush, but by all means an actuall set of brass knuckles would be best. I once saw a plastic pair in a toy set at a dollar store! In the "Police Officer" kit of all things. BTW, what is the word that "silly billy" gets swearbotted in for, I've never been able to figure it out.

WHY NOT MAN! you never know when you might get in a fist fight with... a wild boar..or...an ogre of monsterous proportions...

anyway I never said I was great...merely stated the fact that making your own brass knuckles in texas is like...making your own toilet paper.....just...why?

by the way when I saw silly billy i almost fell backwards out of my chair...i dunno what happened but the words made me spasm with laughter......

Epsilon it is not I lol! Those brass knuckles you can buy with all the spikes etc are really only fantasy ones, not combat operative. Remember the rule of KISS lol, plus with such flair and extra bits you could easily damage yourself
