Please, please do a search for this, there are literally hundreds of topics. For safety I would recomend the air compressor method though.

Shouldn't this be under physical effects?
I would only use squibs for the ground or walls, because they are dangerous. A rocket engine would work but, I would go with the weed sprayer or compressed air way.

IM wanting to make body squibs to look like gunshot wounds, but i dont want to ignite or blow apart my actors. Also i am wanting to learn about how to set up the detonators for the firecrackers/bottle rockets (which give a more defined bang). Give me some help here guys, i really need to know.

Use a metal plate on your actors and ignite them with a detonator, do a search there's a topic like Camclub's detonator.

You can check our site out for what the ignitor, firecracker, and blood condom looks like and how we did it.

this wouldnt be explosive, but it gives a good effect. take a small ziplock bag and fill it with fake blood. tape it to your actor and have them put a shirt over it (white shirt is the best) and then have somebody with a airsoft gun behind the cam shoot it. the bag pops and the blood goes all over.

Well, the problem with that is, unless you've got it rigged perfectly, the blood won't sploosh out. Instead it will just droop inside the shirt. Alright for bleeding, but not really ideal for a squib "get's shot" effect. Although you can try maybe a ballon or condom to pressurize the blood pack and maybe it will spit outwards.
