No way, true democracy isn't good.

If it was true democracy everyone would have to vote on every single little tiny law. Instead, we elect representatives to do it for us, which works out to be a better system.

We tooks some photos for Spoon's SBO campaign in an M42, I'll fix 'em up and post pictures later tonight. Plus we're headed on out to a swing party tonight in our class A's so expect some shots from that as well.

If you look closely you can make out the M42 he's wearing.

Honestly, how many soldiers in WWII after their first battle kept their chinstraps connected. And captains weren't only issued 45's.

Its called a movie!!! Movies are wrong all the time. Plus, how in the freakin hell are u supposed to put that giant rubber chin thing on your helmet? In this picture these guys are paratroopers, not infantry, and in the infantry its a general rule (or at least was) that you do not strap your helmet under your chin :cuss: :help:

No,
Its called their JUMP CHINSTRAPS. When they jumped, they had para liner chinstrap (with A yokes and leather chin cup). They ALSO has chinstraps on their steel pots (which are most likely on the back), and liner leather chinstraps (on top in the front). Now, they usually took off the leather chinstraps from the A yokes when they landed, but not always I guess. This para jump chinstrap was NOT their main chinstrap once they hit the ground (it was only for keeping the helmet on for the jump). In BOB, you rarely, if ever, see them with their regular chinstraps dangleing, you just see a few para chinstraps that they havent taken off.

Rule? What rule? I don't think it's safe to freely assume every single soldiers in the entire American Army fastened their chinstraps to the back of their helmets.

There was a General whom had a pet peev about chinstraps, although I cannot remember who it was. And Maj. Barnes, you've just ignorantly proved yourself wrong. They ARE wearing the shell chinstraps correctly in that image. What you see dangling is the chin cup from the liner A yokes (as Tallman House Pictures pointed out). If you can find a way to strap those suckers up, we may have to change history. Besides, most soldiers didn't want dangling things: It's distracting and is potentially dangerous.

And Gyro, just one minor inaccuracy about your Class A... You are wearing an officer style shirt with an enlisted coat and hat.

Actually, I do have an enlisted men's shirt but when you're going to a swing dance, outside in 85 degree weather the last thing you want on is two layers of wool. As far as the patches, they're exact replica reproductions from What Price Glory.
