The Enemy Within (Update)

Post by maj_barnes »

Well, it's been awhile but pre production is almost finished. Right now I revised the script (no more tanks, more ironic stuff), redoing casting (I found someone not as anti-social as me to help), and almost all the gear is ready. Filming should begin sometime Late-September or Mid-October.

Here are some cool photos I took of "CPL. Rineheart" for a digital photography project (they also make for good promo shots).

He was aiming down at a road, so we were hoping no one noticed, or shot back.
Image
He was sweating alot since it was like 95 degrees out and he was wearing all that cr**.

I didn't really care about the car in the shot, I just needed a panning shot.

Looks pretty good, I especially like the one looking up the gun at the actor. Who's the other Barnes?

Thanks!

David Barnes (no relation, we have to do this everytime we're in a class), he's one of my friends.

And if anyone asks, no I'm not posting the new script, because there are a whole lot more suprises than the last one had.

Edit:
And that bracelet he's wearing: that was his grandpa's; made in 1941!

Well if anybody was going to get all gear-whore over a bracelet, I'm sure the fibre-optic sight on the pellet rifle would've given them a heart attack!:D

I didn't mean it like that  ! I was just saying that was kinda of cool since his grandpa was in WW2 with that bracelet, and he'd be wearing it in a WW2 movie :) .

Besides, they had fibre-optic sights back then, just like they had laser guided bombs, duh!

Ah! Never-mind then, it's pretty cool that he's got soemthing like that, does he wear it all the time, or is it just for the movie?

Lets not forget the deadly game of cat and mouse the German and American submarine captains played under the arctic circle in their nuclear "Boomers" and fast attack ICBM boats.

I know what you meant.

But yea he does wear it around, but not too often, so this was a treat.

This isnt a private thread for just you and UF is it? lol...I think the pics look great. Did you use a digital camera, or are those screen shots of video? Either way, Id like to know what camera you used, they were very crisp pictures. Looks good!!!

It was until the rest of you butted in! lol!

The camera I used was my video camera, but it can take still digital pictures, I think it was like 2.something megapixels. But it's a Canon Optura 50 (or 60, I don't pay attention to these things).

Is that a BB gun? Looks like theres a hinge infront of the handle. Stupid question but why didn't you use caps for the title? Doesn't matter I was just curious. That bracelets a cool thing to have, when you started talking about it it reminded me of that scene in Pulp Fiction when Anthony Walkins helped bring that guys watch to his grandson hahaha. Also the shot where he's sweaty looks good, like if it was a scene where his shot depended on a battle or something.

Yea it's a bb gun, but you can't see where I torn apart my m1 magazine and shoved it in there, I'll post a pic of it later.

But they're not in caps since I failed english.

Okay another update.

I made a website for my production. It's simple I know, but as long as it gets people hyped about the movie I'm good. Plus I'm using it for updates and stuff for cast and crew.

Let the website load, and wait a little bit so you can hear the main theme of the film. Also the music starts out very low, so you may want to turn your volume up.

Hey I did the same thing http://codeofdissolution.tripod.com/ (not intended to take over the thread). Hey it's looking good, when do you plan to have it finished and online? Also, what's the deal with the Korean War Memorial? Speaking of which, here is a sweet pic I took there this summer.
