Spare Time Video

Me and my friend just got back from seeing A History of Violence, and so we wanted to make a video. So we ran around for a little bit and filmed it. We threw in some half-assed plot that we got while talking to some kid about War of the Worlds (everything I say is exactly what he said; we almost killed him right there).

We didn't really take this seriously (note the repeated stealing of Tarentino ideas), so I hope you guys don't. Just something we wanted to have fun with.

Everything was done in a span of about 3 hours.

first off...i loved how u made fun of the gangster style...because we all know whites and the word gangster dont mix. Secondly, war of the worlds did suck...so good job on that. Over all for a quickly filmed thing...good.

Yea the whole gangsta thing came from one when him and someone else were in the car, he was playing the same song, and the guy start getting into it. Then just starts yelling "nigga," and bouncing around. Couldn't help but not use that.

And War of the Worlds bad? BLASPHEME!

pft, minority report p**sed me off, just something about it, good effects and stroyline etc. but i don't no, i just didn't think it was very good

Yea the whole digital blood thing was done as fast as possible, I wanted to get it done, because I still had to show him the rest of Tae Guk Gi, then watch Kung Fu Hustle.

And Minority Report was a great movie too.

Nice short. I enjoyed it. I lost it when the guy driving the car started breakin out singing and dancing! haha...and the hand shake...nice touch hahaha....Good job, I liked it. The music was good as well, but where it came in and went out could've been feathered more, but the selection was good.

Yea, I thought so too. It came in way too aburptly. But he starts jamming when the music comes in; we had to have it too because everyone he meets thinks he looks gangsta. And if you notice the mailbox scene, if you listen closely, you can hear him yelling "nigga" along with the song.

Also it was a little hard to do scene we were the only ones filming.

And for the whole chase thing, I was really thinking about using the song "Rain Drops are Falling on my Head", but I wanted some classic music to set the mood for the ending.
