3ds Max

Post by WeirdEars »

I just got 3ds max 7, because it was a reccomended CGI program, and I don't know how to animate the character. I know how to zoom, move, rotate and key, but I don't know how to actually animate the character (eg move legs on a t-rex or human, etc). Can anyone help me?

Yeah definately look for tutorials on the internet or buy some training DVD's. It would be very hard for someone here to explain how to do it because it is quite a complicated process from rigging your model to eventually animatiing it.
A few sites for tutorials and DVD's would be 3d-palace.com, 3dbuzz.com, simplymax.com, thegnomonworkshop.com and many more I can't think of at the moment..google should find alot.
Remember it will take time to learn it...I've been using it on and off for around a year now and I'm still finding new things to learn.
