Could this POSSIBLY be done?!?

TELL ME HOW I COULD POSSIBLE DO THIS:

How can I make it look like two REAL skate boarders (moving/ doing tricks) are in a 3D animated world (grid world)

I dont think cant greenscreen because the skaters are moving and doing tricks.

P.S.
The grid world is supposed to look kind of like the 3D world in the simpsons episode where homer is sent into another dimention.

I LOVED that episode the first time I saw it a while back... don't know how to help you. Judt thought it was cool how somebody remembered whats behind Homer's bookshelf.

be hard to do, but a moving mask? spend hours turning the backgroung green in photoshop when exported as a .flm ... or set up infront of a green screen with a treadmill? Its a way to do it, although dont know how easily with tricks...

if you could place alot of tracking markers on the floor and then film it high angle so there is no horizon line then yeah it could be done... matte generation programs like mokey like to boast how easy it really is but dont be fooled its still arduous work

Thanks every one.

This is for a movie I am currently writing a script for. It is based around the skate park about a 30 second walk from my house.

Two skaters are extreamly bored with the dull old skate park. " It just dosent have that same 'new' feel to it" one of the characters remark. So they set off on their journey to find the 'ultimate' skate spot. (But as their leaving Anthony's skate board wheel falls off and he falls down and Eric keeps going just rolling his eyes leavin Anthony to run behind him) They search everywhere but every spot has one flaw or another, and the one good place they find, an empty school parking lot, they can't use because mean mister police man spoils the party. Through out the story Eric, the bigger and tougher character, is somewhat mean to poor Anthony that he has been friends with for years. So by days end the two boys sit on the curb discouraged with the fact that they still have no place to skate. This is when they stumble upon THE FOURTH DIMENSION! A strange new world where the laws of phisics and laughed at. Nothing is as it seems. The boys realize this is the perfect place to skate. No other people, no broken glass, no cops! But things head south when a worm hole begins to open right next to Erics feet. Anthony pushes Eric aside saving his life. Eric on the other hand, obliviously unaware to the opening worm hole, responds by saying "Hey you stupid jerk". But Anthony has already been sucked away. as eric is backing away from the spreading worm hole a door apears. A door back to the third dimension! once Eric is back he morns for the loss of his friend and remembers all the good times they had. " Jesus Christ the last thing I said to him was ' Hey, you stupid jerk'"
By now Eric is nearly in tears lying on the cold hard ground. "Eric" A disembodied voice calls. "ANTHONY!" "Eric? Eric get up" In an instant Eric is back to reality realizing he fell a sleep at the boring old skate park. Anthony is very much alive. It is sunset "come on its getting late" Anthony says. "Your alive! Im Alive" eric says VERY happily. "I sure hope so" Anthony says. And as they are riding away Anthonys wheel falls off... and Eric helps him up. And they walk away into the golden, setting sun.

I will send the script when it is finished.

A billion dollar green screen sound stage would work well.

or

Set up a green screen in someone's basement have your dudes skate in place and make the scene move around them. It wouldn't be as exciting but it'd kind of get the job done.

.. on a side note, has anyone ever seen the Yeah Right! Skate video? That was cool shiz.
