intro sound effect
Hiya! I just made myself an animated intro logo, and I'd like to know what music/sound I should put on it. here's the intro: http://media.putfile.com/diedreiaffen
critics and comments are welcome! and I hope someone has an idea of which music I should put on it...

RE: intro sound effect
well sure looks like a horror movie company so I suggest a theme song from a good horror movie(halloween) and maybe some chainsaws sounds in the back.

no chainsaw, sorry.. I want something more 'polyvalent'. and the horror movie theme won't cut it... I don't wan't it to be immediately recognizable! I'd like a little originality, but thanks anyways!

Scary sounding string instument. A creepy violin solo would do it, or have you ever heard a mandolin played, there is no better way to say this, "scar-ily"? (Yes that did sound stupid.)

You can always download some loop samples or whatnot and mess around with your taste. As for the logo, my thoughts consist of taking out the circle text and just putting in the 3D text with the Monkey head. Just how the shadow of the picture mingled with the text when it came down didn't seem right.

yeah, I thought about it. I'm going to do many versions, this one would be the complete version, there will be an animated version with only the silver text and the monkey, and a static version of both. for the "chuchc chhech chhh chhhhh chhh!!!!chhh!!" I think I undestand what you mean.(I THINK). UFP, you just gave me an idea (btw, for those who didn't figured out, "die drei affen" means "the three monkeys" in german.)
EDIT: here's the completed version: http://media.putfile.com/diedreiaffen2
comments & critics welcomed

for the lightning strike it won't be possible... I don't have any special effects/compositing program for the moment, I did my intro using Blender3d, but with that program it's impossible to do convincing lightning bolts.
