Hi just looking for a bit of help(I'm just a beginner so bare with me) - if you could look at this picture first (the link below) and tell me I'm doing wrong
That's my hand and there is a"Pyramid head" behind which is the scene I'm trying to put my self into.
I'm trying to make a video scene which looks as if I'm in another place (A scene from silent hill) - the problem is it looks too transparent and you can still see a sqaure around the video clip. I've only used a blue sheet just for testing out before I get a proper screen. Is it even possible to have both clips moving? or does it have to be a still photo?
I just got the program so I'm still trying to figure how everything works - I've made my film so far useing windows but it's just not got enough to it, that's when I decided to get adobe! So I'm going to do the second part of my film with alot more effects(hopefully!) it's on youtube if anyone's interested my user ID is "TeEnZiE" - it's influenced by the games
I tried to overlay them but they kept fadding in and out
here's my film I'm making anyway http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=TeEnZiE I'm gonna cut this series short and start my next part with trying out some new effects and I know a cool abandoned hospital which is perfect for the next location(looks just like silent hil!l)
what you might also want to keep in mind is matching the color of your bluescreened person with the background image/video/etc. For someone just starting out with this type of technology, you're doing really good.
But the one thing i noticed you need to improve on is color matching. For example, the background image is a warm orange/yellow, while the arm is in monotone - black and white - almost. Use After Effects to touch that up, and your stuff will look even better!
