Chloe the Dog - My First Film

Post by Tommo.S »

Hey all, thought i'de share my first movie with you all. This is the outcome of no preparation, no script, no storyboard and no actors and only abut 5 hours work! and it made it into the finals of a film festival! :D

Anyway i know the narrations a bit scrappy, but considering its my first film im pretty proud with it. Hope you all like it, critism appreciated.

I liked it. The music and the dog flowed nicely together. The sound quality could of been improved just a tad. The camera work was nice, and the dog was the perfect actor!

yeah nice, I know how hard it is to work with animals!! Really hard, but at one point you could tell you had thrown something for him to get, anyway the rest was good, the plot a bit simplistic, but that's OK, and he camer work was nice...

Wow, cool, thanks for the comments. Yeah I think my dog put on a bit of weight after that day, used a whole packet of biscuits! I feel kinda guilty. And yeah that part with the flying object, that took some time. I needed the dog to run forward towards the sunrise while the camera panned up. Only way i could do it was make her fetch my thong lol. It was good fun though. The dogs got a personality, no doubt and thats the only reason i chose to do that film.

Fantastic for a first film. And fantastic for any film in general. The music was great and the dog looked perfect for the part. Great casting! And great voice over. But there were some sound problems after the "2 hours later" thing.

I really liked it, it looked better than my first film. I liked the story, I would have never thought of it! The only bad thing was the sound, the rest was good though! :)
