Pressured - Scene 4 (school film)

Post by film fanatic »

Hey people,

Just a small project here - we're currently making a short film in school called "Pressured" which is about the effects of bullying. Here is scene 4 - where the victims retaliate against the bully who then takes revenge with dire consequences. Or something like that. Written, edited, filmed and directed by me.

Horrays for Lost music! 'Twas good, I quite liked the camera work, had something of a documentary feel to it, and the dolly shots were superb. Some of the fighting lacked force, but all in all was quite well done. Will you be posting the whole shebang at any point?

Lol, fair over the top but its alright. Some parts of the fight someone would be on the ground, then in the next shot they would be held up by two people. The little flicker things like that make fights bad.

I liked it, the camera work really good. I found it difficult to keep track of who is who though.

YOU NOTICED!!!!

Haha, yes, I will be posting the whole shebang soon. The fighting did lack force, I may reshoot - the dolly shots were actually just my camera on a table with wheels :D

Very, VERY well done! Angles are perfect. Music fits with it well. Shame you can't here whats going on very well. Same things happening with my film :Powers, so I'm dubbing one or two of the scenes tommorow. The acting is okayish, but the fight scenes are quite bad and look REALLY fake.

I reckon the problem with the sound was the music. You can hear the sound just fine (I use an external microphone) with no music but I always forget to turn the volume of the music down when adding it. Thanks for your comments, anyway!

Reminded me so much of "Les Choriste".

I've never seen that, Sean, but through my fantastic French skills I can deduce that means The Chorus.

I enjoyed that!

What did you use to colour it?

I used Adobe Premiere 6.0 to colour it and it's deinterlaced too.
