hanasand, liked the clip. What did you do the bullet in? 3D studio ?
Haven't seen Matrix 2 yet. Going to see it next week probably. It looks good and the reviews are good. Looking forward to it. If makes me smile like the lobby scene did when I saw the first film then it will be money well spent !
I was disappointed with The Matrix: Reloaded. I have so many grievances that I could sit here for an hour and type out everything... ARGH!!! Hopefully Revolutions will be better (but that wouldn't make sense now would it...).
Did you model that bullit and cartrige yourself or did you download it from some where else.
either way is there any way that I could get my gruby little paws on it as 3D modeling is compleately beond me at present, and not that I want to copy youre stuff but..... I really want to copy stuff.
PS. this would only be for educational purposes only and I promise not to take any credit for it.
Jack I've got a Lightwave model of a bullet if you want. It has the Hollow Point logo embossed on the back but you can remove easily. Again if you just want the shell casing thaat can be done.
That would be great if you could e-mail it to me at jasqueal@hotmail.com
Would I need light wave to make it work?
and how can I get my hands on a copy of lightwave or 3Ds max?
remember Im talking no budget style.
I supose it was a bit stupid of me ask (soz matt)
but would it still be alright if you could e-mail me youre bullet, it would really help if you could.
hanasand, your right about pirate software. Obviously I can't stop people downloading stuff from iMesh, Kazaa, Directconnect, eDonkey etc but the forum can't support or encourage it.
Everyone must be responsable for aquiring their own software according to the relevant laws in their country.
As for tutorials, I haven't got any links at the moment but there are plenty out there on the net. I've found tutorials for 3D studio max using google etc. If anyone has got any good ones in their 'favourites' then post them here ...
I think you just didn't get it. Every single person Ive talked to that didn't like the movie had not understood the whole thing when I asked them to check..
Go here and maybe you'll understand how brilliant it is: Internet Movie Data Base, look up the matrix reloaded forum..
I can't remember who said this, may have been James Cameron, but I'm not sure. Anyway, it was a big Hollywood director or producer... He said that in order for people to think a sequel is as good as the original movie, it (the sequel) has to be twice as good as the original. Raised expectations and all that. I think he was right.
I just saw it and quite enjoyed it I was a little distracted by the severe a*** pain I gained whilst sat in the worst cinema in Bristol but I still enjoyed it.
Loads of things annoyed me though, like the odd closeups which cut off their foreheads... And they way the whole cast pretty much wisper to each other all the time! Still, if I could do better I would
that clip was really good. i don't mean to be pickey but shell casings or spent brass should be the color of brass, kind of gold tinted, not shiny silver. Very good effect though, I know I wouldn't even know where to start when it comes to stuff like that so hats off to ya!
