I've already done that! Soldier Hit Test
With 3ds max you can create practically anything you want. All you have to do is look at the tutorials!!!!!
What exactly are you trying to make in 3ds gore-wise? Body parts? Blood?

Normally I would use real stuff, but that was my challenge to see how real I could make it look. All these producers like to say how difficult it is to make digital blood and it is the hardest thing to do!
I was planning to dub it, so I originally ignored the audio. But then figured I had accomplished my goal, so I never did. I will keep the dialogue as a mystery!

Nicely done Epsilon! I like it. I just wish there was more blood. That's not a criticism, I just like to see more.
Where did you find the tutorial to do that? I've never used 3D Studio Max, but I just got Particle Illusion 3 to try and do the same sort of thing.
Ever since I saw the digital gore in Ichi the Killer, I've been okay with the idea, as long as there is also some practical gore.

Ah damn, you got some great skill Epsilon... I don't know how you people have the patience to do that stuff a 3dSTudio max, yeesh...
So what you did was:
-Make the blood effect on a green BG.
-Then, just apply to the raw footage via A PRemiere 6????
Sounds easy, EXCEPT for making the CG blood, so, am I right?
OH and Epsilon, did you use AAE for that effect?

Nope. 3ds, Bitmap Paint, and Premiere. Actually, I used a white background to export it out. I mean, there is no need for green or blue, that just makes life harder. White always works better than any other color. However it just doesn't work out with actual persons in footage!
Making the splatter was the easiest part, believe it or not. I made the splat out in around 5-10 minutes. It is just a particle system. The tough part is getting it to match into the scene. And appear where and when I want them to! I did that matching around completely in Premiere! Bitmap Paint came in handy for making the wall splats which I placed frame by frame in Premiere. Watch how the bottom splat on the wall is briefly covered by the arm!

Was that white blurry fast running object suppose to be a bullet of some sort?? And where did you learn to make those effects on 3Dstudio Max, because I am looking for some REALLY BASIC tutorials on the basics on 3ds;
