I know i'm no where near as good as some of the tracks previously listed, but i've got a few "war-like" tracks that would fit in a war movie if you needed.. "The Forefront", "March of Beast", "Fort of Flight" are a few examples.
One of my favorite war movie tracks come from "We Were Soldiers Once and Young" and "Black Hawk Down". I really dig the driving military snare. Even though you never see a bloke with a snare drum, you can feel he's back there somewhere about to get blown to pieces.

Agreed!
You failed to realize that "Saving RYAN'S PRIVATES" is actually a movie created by a bunch of independant filmmakers as a spoof to "Saving Private Ryan." He wasn't talking about SPR!Gyro wrote:I didnt understand this.xbreaka420 wrote:iv seen the saving ryans privates sound track get ovverrated as well, theres also some ok stuff ion the old john wayne films.

No, it was an actual film! A story where a Private named Ryan get his family jewls blown off in battle and Miller's squad is on a mission to find them! They even had that soundtrack which I've seen for sale. I thought the movie was silly, but it does have good humor in it.

I don't see why must we always resort to music that came from another war movie/mini-series/documentary. There's loads of good music out there that complement a war movie really well. Classical music is filled with good scores. I'm a great fan of "Flower Duet" when it comes to dying scenes, any other winning pieces of classical or classical like music out there we've used?
