Help Configureing TCP/IP i almost got it

OK with my windows 95 computer, i almost hve the cable connection set up on it. When i change the protocall or whatever the hell it is, it starts installing the TCP/IP Ethernet fast card. WHen it gets to 8 % (which its fast)...it says "Please insert your novell netware dos driver disc"....what do i do about that. THen, to see if im pulling in the external IP address i added to my cable account, it said it was not putting in the IP...but on a brighter note, when this computer (im typeing on) was on, i got a message saying "Could not find a DHCP IP address, would you like to be notified if we pick one up?" type thing...ANyway i want to know why its not letting me connect to internet explorer? ANyway can anyone help me with this problem.

hmmm..you are going to new protocol, microsoft, tcp/ip? and it is giving that? What is the file it is looking for when it says to insert that disc? you have an ip and a connection obviously if you can connect..what all do you have along with tcp/ip installed?

In the protocol dialog box in Netwrok properties, remove any protocols except TCP/IP and try that. Sounds like you have NWLink installed as a protocol, which you won't need.
