Blood Stock Footage on Website

I remember visiting a great film-related sight that hosted many effects for free for forum registration.

I distinct thing they had was "blood stock footage"

Malheureusement, I cannot find this site, anyone know what I'm talking about? or what site?

You could easily make some, just get some bright-green fabric for greenscreen and toss some blood out there. That's what I'm going to do.

No, thats not my site. That is someone elses site , whom was hosting mine.

Blood stock footage is easy to do. It's even better to do while actually filming the scene, it looks much better. Ever consider doing that?

I've done many of those before you idiot. I even helped him in this one, by suggesting it's easier to do it while filming using something like a rubber glove and a small firecracker. I'm waiting to see a post where you will STFU.

Yeah! use the party popper method. Take the cardboard disc off the top then fill it with fake blood! 9take out the streamers first dummy!) then cover the top with glad wrap and your set!

The problem you may have with the party poppers is the mass of the liquid would be much higher than that of paper. Also, there tends not to be a separation between the confetti and the gun powder. But hey, give it a try and see what happens!

I did say take out the streamers/confetti first! its only good for shots where blood splatters on the wall due to the velocity of the blood coming out!

You've misread my post. If you can get enough power out of it, it might work fine. But from what I've noticed is they keep reducing the explosive over time to make it safer. My guess is nothing would happen.

I don't have a greenscreen. Does anybody still have the blood stock footage (it was cgi made in slow mo) saved on their computer willing to send it or upload for us?

Btw, the reason why im using this kind of method of applying blood is because my shot requires such manner of applying blood.
