Color correction

Post by bangoker »

for what exactly and and how do u use color correction?

im guessing that it is to make all the movie look the same, consitent, or change it to make it warmer or colder

am i right?

but is there like a way that you select 2 scenes and it will make the color correction so that they look the same?

depends on what kind of color correction, some times you can uliminate one color, or have everything black and white except one color, or, like in the Matrix, you can make 1 color dominant over the others. (i.e. GREEN)

Yeah, and with certain plugins, certain colors can be modified... i.e. Magic Bullet has a plug in for a filmic look with a matrix like preset. It gives a slight green tint to the blacks.

Color correction is used to match up colors between mulitple shots and to tint your movie as you wish to give it an effect you may desire.
