RE: Watch this masking nightmare
Actually, that was pretty good. Add a kick sound, and an "Oof" sound, and you're in business

Looks good must have take a long time to draw all those matte's. Only thing I can see is the reflections in the window show only one person.

yeah the sounds could help a lot. and i think i could mask out the shadow in the window and people wouldn't notice. thanks guys! oh and it did take me a very long time. it was probably around 25 hours of work because it took so many points to surround my body. i used a mask feather of 6 and in some of the smaller masks i used a mask feather of 2. it took about 7 minutes to render that 3 second clip and i've got 2.8 ghz and 2 gb ram.
Nice load of RAM there! That was REALLY good! Use bluescreen for the guy kicking and the guy falling over and it'll be tonnes easier (Use layers). Oh, and have a background plate. Plus sound fx. Go to my website www.freewebs.com/nazisentry/ in the downloads section theres some ripped Matrix sound fx.

no blue screen would have looked much more fake. the reason it looked so great was because all three shots were filmed in the same spot so the lighting on all three shots was the same. with blue screeens if you even get a good enough key then it is hard to get the right coloring for the actor. plus this way allowed me to keep some of the shadows on the ground like when the actor falls. i do not mind spending that many hours doing it as long as it look good.
