Nicely done, very crisp looking.
Losing consciousness,

I find only peace.

Yeah but if you have a bog standard camera you can't get a nice depth of field unless you play around with lighting

I shall post it when it's done (mid-February) and yes, it is another WWII film. Suck it up!

The DOF is nice, now we have an XL1 we can use DOF too, & it's easy to acheive with the XL1 too.
Not interested in the film tho as it's a war film & i hate them, nice images tho.

i have a hard time taking the wwii films seriously when the soldiers are being played by really young kids... but your shots look good...

Check this out, another shot consists of a flag and some lights in the background during the "swing party" scene, it's one shot; starting off with it out of focus then focusing on the flag.

Hey! I've had my camera for two years now and I just barely figured out how to fully use the manual focus, so give me a break. Plus you can't say it doesn't look cool.

I like the macro focus on the DVX100A, not as much for depth of field, but that I could get a good look of tears, blood, etc close up really well. God a shot of my eye close up once with the macro focus and it looked really clear.

The bigger the apature, that smaller the depth of field... which you cannot change on these crappy consumer cameras!
