PSAs for my school

PSAs are usually not that interesting, but I'm making a series of 3. They are about a program that my school has to help students out with their problems (drugs, alcohol, suicide, etc.) T.A.S.A.R. as it is called, has a "red ribbon week" where students wear red ribbons to show they are drug free. Anyway, I get to make a series of 3 PSAs advertising this red ribbon week, T.A.S.A.R., and the Great American Smoke-Out. Oh yeah, my Social Studies teacher is a member of T.A.S.A.R. so thats how I got involved.

Ok, I've run into a problem. I need to make 3 counters in AE 6 to count up to 45, 1000, and 3000. There has got to be an easier way to do this than making a text layer and making the text property change with time and type in 1, 2, 3, 4 etc. up to 45. Can anyone help? Oh yeah, the deadline is Monday.

Yeh I can do something in lightwave, what colours position fonts etc do you need

Down here in Louisiana, my school is too stupid to actually think about some1 doing something like that. But yes we have had a red-ribbon week before, but still they dont give a s***.
