Adobe Premiere Elements
Ok, so I just recieved my copy of Adobe Premiere Elements 3.0. The thing is I bought because I saw it could do some compositing (Like blue screen and green screen). However, most of the stock footage that I've got is with a black or white background. Does anybody know how to remove the backgrounds? Thx.
RE: Adobe Premiere Elements
Put copy of clip with black background on the different track in Timeline (but within the same timecode) and use it as matte in Track Matte Key filter. (Add Track Matte to lower clip)

And if you're feeling half arsed, just chromakey out the black or white, instead of the green or blue
(although I imagine the results aren't too fantastic)

Hmm..okay what's with the Track Matte Key? Everytime I apply it, it does nothing?
It won't do anything by itself. You could at least read the manual
