Blue laser

Post by ALove »

anyone heard of the blue laser? its a laser for burning things onto a disc. i hear it can burn 7X the amount of data onto a disc than regular burners. 4.7 GB becomes 32.9 GB. it doesn't really increase the memory, it can just burn 7 GBs of data into 1 GB on a disc.

I haven't heard of it, but it sounds cool. I would love to have a dvd that could actually hold uncompressed footage. 4.7gig just ain't enough sometimes.

you do need special discs (called blu-ray discs) though and of course a special burner which costs a fortune! [1] [2] [3]
