MAC Special Effects

Ok I have a iMac with Final Cut Express is there anyway to add a explosion or muzzle shot effect with that program?

There is, but you'll need explosion footage or a muzzle image to composite on to your original footage.

ok what about the explosions on the special effects page on this site? Would they work? Oh and I have the express version not the full version if that would change anything

I'm not sure if the Express version will do it... Check your filters to see if you have any kind of compositing tools (such as Chromakey or Alpha Map).
