Totally n00bish questions but o well
Hi Swanny C here, u mite fink im a total foo for not knowing these but o well.
Two things,
1. When i bluescreen/greenscreen/whatever u call it, do the sheets i use have to be blue or green
and 2. How do i play footage backwards, cuz i have a clip of me throwing something away, and i want to make it look like i am pulling it towards me using "the force" type thing.

- sheets really do need to be blue or green as these are the colours - furthest away from skin tones - if you are not bluescreening people - then use whichever colour you like as long as the object doesnt contain that colour.

It needs to be a solid color that is evenly dispersed. A blanket might have shadows and wrinkles that you may not notices, but is surely picked up by the camera. Any screen also need to be very well lighted. Otherwise it hardly comes out at all. Try a tablecloth maybe.
I have a blue bedsheet that I use for my screen. Usually I stretch it across a large board and set it up on the garage door. I work outside a lot because it just has the ideal amount of light. I use large, white, shiny foam boards as reflectors to make sure everything is well lighted. When this massive contraption is set up, I get all sorts of wierd looks from the neighbors. They probably think I am nuts by now!
