Try to figure out what it is from. Maybe from another movie score altogether. I have seen many trailers that used the Waterworld theme for music! Orch and choir rise is a just a section of the theme. I recommend Google! Maybe you should send some e-mails off to music junkies around the net.

It is made by Immediate Music (http://www.immediatemusic.com)- a company specialising in this kind of targeted music. As for this particular piece, I couldn't locate it at their website, but there are thre pieces called "orch rise #1" to "orch rise #3"??? These are low quality samples of their music, but ... <DELETED BY THE MODS FOR CONTRAVENING FORUM RULES REGARDING SOFTWARE PIRACY :dammit:> ... might be an idea?

In general, a good place to get this kind of information is to go to http://www.soundtrack.net/trailers, and from there, locate the movie/trailer in question. They haven't got everything, but quite a lot of them.

Rico

Hm, but that thread only lists one of the pieces (Lacrimosa), trailers usually use several pieces of music and mix them together to suit the action on screen.
According to SoundtrackNet, the complete list of music for Spiderman 2 trialer is:

"Burn The Clock" - Adam Freeland
"Lacrimosa" - Immediate Music
"Orch and Choir Rise" - Immediate Music
"Switchback Instrumental" - Celldweller
The Last Samurai (2003) - Hans Zimmer - "Ronin" cue
Plunkett & Macleane (1999) - Craig Armstrong - "Hanging" cue
Sound design and Sound source - Tim Gedemer
Original Trailer Music - Robert Etoll
Spider-Man (2002) - Danny Elfman

...So there are quite a lot of music involved in that trailer :)

Rico
