"Omega X" Production Thread

hey everyone. im working on a new movie called Omega X. Its about a someone who escaped from a government testing lab and is running for his life from monsters, assasins, etc. i am not going to use any special effects, all physical effects. the script is somewhat completed. i want to know what you guys think about it.

sounds like some other movies forget names but good luck sounds like a good film, if the scripts good it could have some potential

Yeah, it sounds like you'd need quite a few good special fx to make it look good, which costs a fiar bit of money.

i am a big fan of the old 70's and 80's action movies with the cheesy effects. i want the film to be a somewhat cheesy action movie since i love those kinds of films. some of you may not like them, but its what im trying for.

Cheesy ? Why? Techonlagy has improved so much since then take advantage of it!

don't lisen to these guys, they've never made a movie and the ones that have well...

put a level of humour in the script. i dont mean make it a comedy but if you have the characters accept its a little silly the audience will accept it easier, just look at when George Lazenby played James Bond, his first line was "that never happened to the other guy"

also what do you mean by monsters? are we thinking like buffy or what?

im still figuring the monster part of it out right now. i never really watched buffy so i wouldnt know about that!
