"Omega X" Production Thread

Post by Chris_film »

hey everyone. im working on a new movie called Omega X. Its about a someone who escaped from a government testing lab and is running for his life from monsters, assasins, etc. i am not going to use any special effects, all physical effects. the script is somewhat completed. i want to know what you guys think about it.

sounds like some other movies forget names but good luck sounds like a good film, if the scripts good it could have some potential

Might be good as long as the effects don't suck.

Yeah, it sounds like you'd need quite a few good special fx to make it look good, which costs a fiar bit of money.

i am a big fan of the old 70's and 80's action movies with the cheesy effects. i want the film to be a somewhat cheesy action movie since i love those kinds of films. some of you may not like them, but its what im trying for.

don't lisen to these guys, they've never made a movie and the ones that have well... ;)

put a level of humour in the script. i dont mean make it a comedy but if you have the characters accept its a little silly the audience will accept it easier, just look at when George Lazenby played James Bond, his first line was "that never happened to the other guy" :D

also what do you mean by monsters? are we thinking like buffy or what?
